Mumbai [India] September 7: After garnering a highly positive response to the bookings, the film has been seeing an increase in ticket sales with each passing day.

This massive spate of advance bookings is only taking into consideration the tickets sold at national multiplex chains. Given the sale of tickets from single screens, and 2D screens as well Brahmasta could easily emerge as a film to see one of the highest advance booking rates.

While, the audience seem to be patronizing the film in droves, trade buzz is highly positive about the film claiming that Brahmastra could see a strong opening in double digits.

Ayan Mukerji directorial Brahmastra is all set to hit worldwide screens on September 9. Starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy, the film which has been long in the making also features cameos from Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone. Featuring immense promotions and hype the film has fast become one of the most anticipated releases of recent times. In fact, the crazy for Brahmastra is evident in the advance booking rate the film is enjoying. After garnering a highly positive response to the bookings, the film has been seeing an increase in ticket sales with each passing day.

When comparing the advance booking rate Brahmastra has been seeing to previous big ticket Bollywood releases, the film has been faring rather well. In fact, Brahmastra which has already sold close to 1.50 lakh tickets for its first day alone is expected to feature prominently among the top 10 films with the highest advance booking rate. When compared, the Ayan Mukherji directorial Brahmastra could rank between 4th and 8th place on the list, competing with previous releases like the Salman Khan starrer Bharat which sold 3.16 lakh tickets, Sultan which sold 3.10 lakh tickets, Dangal which sold 3.05 lakh tickets, Sanju which sold 2.94 lakh tickets.


Mumbai [India], September 4: Ahead of the release of 'Brahmastra', filmmaker Ayan Mukerji shared a behind-the-scenes clip from the film showing how the lead cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, and Alia Bhatt performed intense action scenes using "technology."

The video begins with the couple Ranbir-Alia preparing for some action sequences followed by Ranbir fighting with some stunt performers and running on a treadmill in front of a blue screen.



A shot then shows Alia and him practicing a stunt before the two sat in a car suspended and revolving up in the air for a shot.

We can also see Big B performing a scene with his sword. Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy, too, marked their presence in the BTS video.

Sharing the particular video on his Instagram account, Ayan wrote, "Where Spirituality meets TECHNOLOGY...5 DAYS TO GO. Yesterday was the first time, I saw every shot in Brahmastra - finally finished, polished, and ready for its audience." "Very emotional moment for me, because of how long and challenging that journey has been, on every single shot, from the drawing board to the big screen!

Felt right to share some Behind-the-Scenes today, to celebrate so many years of growing through technology! (and hanging out with blue screens!)," he added.

'Brahmastra' is set to hit the theatres on September 11. It is said to be made on a budget of Rs 400 crore.
