Anupam Kher will play Rabindranath Tagore in his next film, and the actor has shared the first look.

Anupam Kher, the actor, unveiled his new project on Friday, in which he will play the poet, philosopher, and essayist Rabindranath Tagore.

Anupam Kher shared his look on his official #instagram as Tagore and captioned it, "Delighted to portray #Gurudev #RabindranathTagore in my 538th project. Will reveal the details in due course. Ye mere saubhagya hai ki mujhe gurudev ko parde par saakaar karne ka saubhagya prapt hua hai. Jald hi is film ki adhik jankaari apke sath sanjha krunga."


Rabindranath Tagore was the first Indian to receive the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1913; he composed the national anthems of India and Bangladesh, as well as many other songs. He is recognised by various names, including Gurudev, Kabiguru, and Biswakabi, and is also known as 'the Bard of Bengal.'

On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated the new Parliament Building.

On the occasion, actor Anupam Kher rushed to Instagram to congratulate the country's residents.

He shared a video of himself delivering a poem dedicated to the new Parliament building, which he captioned in Hindi, "Samast bharat vaasiyon ko naye, aadhunik aur poorn roop se Bhartiya Sansad Bhavan ki haardik shubh kaamnayein aur badhaai." Sansad Bhavan duniya ke har desh ke liye prajatantra aur loktantra pranali ka ek anutha prateek bane. "Hail to India."

On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated the new Parliament edifice to the country and erected the historic symbol 'Sengol' near the Lok Sabha Speaker's chair in the new edifice. The new Parliament building is three times larger than the old one, encompassing 64,500 square kilometres and housing 888 persons. The original parliament building was circular, whereas the present one is triangular. In the original building, the Lok Sabha had 543 seats. In the new Lok Sabha building, 888 individuals can sit together. In the former parliament building, the Rajya Sabha had 250 seats. In addition, the number of Rajya Sabha seats in the new building has risen to 384. The new Lok Sabha hall is themed after the national bird, the peacock. The Rajya Sabha chamber has been designed around the motif of the national flower lotus.

Meanwhile, Anupam Kher was recently featured in the thriller film 'IB71' alongside actor Vidyut Jammwal. He will next be seen in the upcoming film 'Metro...In Dino,' directed by Anurag Basu, opposite Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Konkona Sen Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Ali Fazal, and Neena Gupta.







First Look Poster of Anupam Kher's 525th film 'The Signature' is out

Mumbai [India], June 20: Veteran star Anupam Kher first look from his upcoming 525th movie 'The Signature' is out. The actor recently announced the title of his upcoming flix on social media account.

On Monday, film critic and movie trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the first look poster of 'The Signature' movie starring Anupam Kher and Mahima Chaudhry on Twitter. " ANUPAM KHER: 'THE SIGNATURE' FILMING OVER, FIRST LOOK POSTER... #TheSignature - starring #AnupamKher with #MahimaChaudhry, #NeenaKulkarni, #ManojJoshi, #SnehaPaul, #Kevin, #SangitaJainBokadia and #RanvirShorey [sp app] - is now complete", he tweeted.

In the first look poster, Anupam kher is seen in the streets dressed in a striped shirt and a trouser, holding an umbrella in one hand and has carried a shoulder bag on other. 'The Signature' is directed by none other than National Award winning director Gajendra Ahire and its Co-produced by Anupam Kher Studio.

A' Wednesday' star recently expressed his excitement for his career's 525th film on his social media account. In his Instagram post along with pictures, the actor wrote, "It is "THE SIGNATURE" ! Yes!! The name of my 525th movie is finalised.

Slightly modified but mainly based on your suggestions. We got more than 100,000 responses on various SM platforms! The movie is directed by brilliant @gajendraahire_goda cinematography by @krishnasoren and produced by legendary #KCBokadia ji.

Anupam Kher, a National School of Drama (NSD) alumnus, has starred in a number of Hindi films such as 'Ram Lakhan', 'Lamhe', 'Khel', 'Darr', 'Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge', 'A Wednesday', and 'M S Dhoni: The Untold Story' during the course of his nearly four-decade career.

On the work front presently, Anupam concluded the shooting of 'Uunchai' with legendary actors Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani and Neena Gupta.
