Ram Charan,Jr NTR will compete against Tom Cruise & Brad Pitt at the 2023 Critics Choice Super Award

Los Angeles [United States], Feb 23: Woah! SS Rajamouli's 'RRR' is not slowing down. Following its nomination at the 95th Academy Awards, the film has now been nominated for Best Action Movie in the Critics Choice Super Awards, alongside Top Gun: Maverick and Bullet Train.

On February 23, the nominees were announced on the Critics Choice Awards website. On March 16, the winners will be announced. The team RRR won an award for Best Original Song at the Golden Globes Awards 2023 last month in January. Meanwhile, Ram Charan recently appeared on Good Morning America, where he discussed RRR's massive success. "It's about friendship, brotherhood, camaraderie, and the relationship between these two characters (RRR). And I believe it is one of my director Rajamouli's finest works; he is known as India's Steven Spielberg "He stated. Ram Charan also hinted on the show that Rajamouli is interested in directing an international project.

Golden Globes: Rihanna gives the RRR crew a flying kiss for their historic victory

Although singer Rihanna did not receive a Golden Globe nomination this year, her gesture in support of the RRR squad, who took home a significant victory at the international gala, earned her a lot of hearts.

The RRR song "Naatu Naatu" won the Golden Globe for Best Original Song on 10th January,2023.

Along with Carolina by Taylor Swift, Ciao Papa by Alexandre Desplat, Roeban Katz from Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio, Hold My Hand by Lady Gaga, BloodPop, and Benjamin Rice from Top Gun: Maverick, and Lift Me Up by Tems, Rihanna, Ryan Coogler, and Ludwig Goransson from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, the Indian song from SS Rajamouli's RRR was also nominated

As she passed the RRR table with her lover ASAP Rocky shortly after the team had won, Rihanna offered her congratulations.

The internet has been buzzing with a video of that specific moment. Rihanna turned to face director SS Rajamouli and the rest of the RRR crew while donning a black gown, velvet gloves, and a wrap shawl, congratulating them with a flying kiss.

"Naatu Naatu" was written by Kala Bhairava and Rahul Sipligunj with music by MM Keeravaani. The song has Ram Charan and Jr. NTR dancing heartily amidst British people in the music video.

RRR,The Kashmir Files,Kantara & Gangubai Kathiawadi are included on the Oscars 2023 reminder list

The Oscars 2023 reminder list includes the blockbusters "RRR," "The Kashmir Files," "Kantara," and "Gangubai Kathiawadi."

A list of 301 feature films that are still eligible for the Oscars in 2023 was issued by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS).

Previously, India's official submission for the Oscars in 2023 was the Gujarati film "Chhello Show" by Pan Nalin. Along with them, the list also includes the Indian movies "Me Vasantrao" and "Tuzhya Sathi Kahihi," "Iravin Nizhal," "Rocketry: The Nambi Effect," and the Kannada film "Vikrant Rona." Director Vivek Agnihotri posted on Twitter about his delight, saying, "BREAKING NEWS: The first list of @TheAcademy's nominees for the #Oscars2023 includes #TheKashmirFiles. The 9,579 eligible voters will start filling out their ballots on January 12 and they will close on January 17, 2023, according to Variety, an American Meida firm.

The Oscar ceremony will take place in the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on March 12, 2023, and the formal nominations will be announced on January 24, 2023.
