Karan Johar, Guneet Monga announce new web series 'Gyaarah Gyaarah'

Producers Karan Johar and Guneet Monga are coming up with a new web series titled 'Gyaarah Gyaarah'.

'Gyaarah Gyaarah' is an investigative fantasy drama series starring Kritika Kamra, Dhairya Karwa and Raghav Juyal in pivotal roles. This is the first time that ZEE5, Dharmatic Entertainment and Sikhya Entertainment are coming together for an original web series.

Directed by Umesh Bist (of Pagglait fame) and co-written by Puja Banerjee and Sunjoy Shekhar, 'Gyaarah Gyaarah' spans across three decades and timelines - 1990, 2001 and 2016 - and blends mysticism, science, and mystery to give you an edge of the seat experience. Season 2 of 'Taj' announced. Watch the official trailer here

After a successful season one, the creators of 'Taj - Reign of Revenge' have chosen to add a second season. The second season will begin on May 12, 2023, with new episodes released every Friday.

The eight-part succession series will continue to star Naseeruddin Shah as King Akbar, Dharmendra as Shaikh Salim Chisti, Aashim Gulati as Prince Salim, Shubham Kumar Mehra as Prince Daniyal, Sandhya Mridul as Queen Jodha Bai, Zareena Wahab as Queen Salima, Queen Ruqaiya Begum as Padma Damodaran, Rahul Bose as Mirza Hakim, and Pankaj Sauraseni Maitra will join the cast as Meherunnisa [Noor Jahaan], Jiansh Agarwal as Prince Khusrav, and Mitansh Lulla as Prince Khurram, who will go on to become the season's most prominent characters.

The story of Taj season 2 begins 15 years after S1 ended, and charters Salim's journey from being the exiled enemy of the Mughal empire to seeking blood and revenge in an attempt to become the next emperor. Directed by Shivam Nair and Jayprad Desai, ‘Mukhbir – The Story of a Spy’ is an inspiring story of India’s secret agent in Pakistan who rose to the occasion to save the nation and turn the tide of the war in his country’s favour. The gripping spy thriller is set to premiere on ZEE5 this year and stars Zain Khan Durrani, Prakash Raj, Adil Hussain, Barkha Bisht, Harsh Chhaya, Satyadeep Mishra and Zoya Afroz in prominent roles.

‘Mukhbir – The Story of a Spy’ is the untold story of India’s secret agent who led India to evade several aggressive advances from the enemy country by providing intelligence and by helping India win the 1965 war.
