Fashionable move by Chloé: French luxury fashion brand is partnering with a footwear brand Teva

Chloé, the French luxury fashion business, has announced an exclusive footwear partnership with the sport sandal brand Teva.

The Hurricane XLT2 and Hurricane XLT2 Ampsole are updated with timeless and whimsical recycled straps printed with the Chloé emblem, inspired by the rave theme explored in the Chloé summer 2023 collection.

According to the luxury fashion business, the designs are also in keeping with the sandal's important lower impact, as they feature a 50 percent recycled rubber outsole and recycled polyester straps.

The Hurricane XLT2 is available in "Natural White," while the Hurricane XLT2 Ampsole is available in "Black-White" and "Multicolor Pink."

The Chloé x Teva footwear collection will be available in Chloé shops, as well as on Chloe.com and Teva.com, with pricing beginning at 370 pounds / 390 euros / 490 US dollars.










Jennifer Lopez will collaborate with Revolve to launch footwear

JLO Jennifer Lopez, the brand founded by singer and actress Jennifer Lopez, is collaborating with premium lifestyle brand Revolve to launch an exclusive footwear collection.

JLO Jennifer Lopez for Revolve will be released in three installments, beginning with a 16-piece collection of sculptural heels in metallic styles, crystal embellishments, and animal prints.

The first drop, designed for both brands to reach new audiences, includes sky-high platforms, knee-high boots, strappy sandals, and kitten heels in suede, leather, mesh, and satin to "give the line an elevated and chic look."

We are able to provide our customers with exclusive products that they can only get from Revolve thanks to these partnerships.

The debut collection is available online at revolve.com, with retail prices ranging from 145 to 200 US dollars.

Footwear follows apparel, tapping into the key seasonal influences in highly creative and unexpected ways. Metaverse inspirations bring digital aesthetics into the physical realm, whilst DIY and crafted elements offer the human touch of handcrafting. Comfort is key for consumers, fulfilled by shoe designs featuring wide proportions, rounded profiles, and soft materials.

Digital design IRL

As with apparel, the virtual world influences physical footwear design. Playful styles with exaggerated, pumped-up proportions are ultra-creative and unexpected in their rendering. Moulded-look constructions and bulbous, rounded sole units inspired by the metaverse appear as though ready to be worn by an avatar. Soft gathered sock effect-booties and glittering crystal studs add to the other-worldly feel.

Exaggerated forms are recreated in more commercially realisable styles based on consumer desire for comfort. Wide-fit bumper styles with chunky, moulded wedges or flatform soles have greater wearability than high heels, are gently rounded and come with integrated footbeds for maximum comfort. Buttery padded leathers, semi-translucent rubbers, and mattified finishes give an elevated sense of protection and softness.

Upcycled footwear

The trend for upcycled constructions translates to footwear with designs crafted from pre-existing recycled pieces, deadstock of waste components and found objects or materials. Midsoles are mixed and matched into sandwich layers, lace trims and duct tape become straps, and Velcro and laces from different designs are used to create new fastening techniques. Hand drawn graphics applied to soles add to the creatively crafted DIY aesthetic.
