Priyanka on hosting screening of 'Chhello Show': "Proud of outstanding films produced in India!"

Los Angeles [US], January: 10 The Last Film Show (Chhello Show), which was nominated for an Oscar, recently had a special screening in Los Angeles presented by global icon Priyanka Chopra.

David Dubinsky, the film's producer, released a number of images and videos. In one of the videos, the actress can be seen speaking while recalling the era of small-town single-screen theatres.

"At the screening and after-party of Last Film Show, a coming-of-age drama about a boy from a small Indian town who finds the joys of the movie theatre just as digital projection changes the rules, was Priyanka Chopra, actress, model, and producer (wife of Nick Jonas). It is India's entry for the Academy Awards and was recently named to the shortlist for Best International Feature Film "David wrote the post's caption.

Bhavin Rabari, a young actor, and director Pan Nalin were also present during the screening.

Priyanka uploaded a few images from the screening on Monday and stated, "Supporting the industry that taught me everything I know about my line of work is the least I can do. I am so proud of Indian cinema's great productions. Being one of the special ones, "Chhello Show' being one of the special ones. Good luck team! Go get 'em"

The Gujarati film "The Last Film Show" (Chhello Show), which is partially autobiographical, portrays the charm of Gujarat's western region while paying respect to classic movies. It serves as a reminder of the universal charm of movies as well as the innocence of infancy. Rahul Koli, Vikas Bata, Richa Meena, Bhavesh Shrimali, and Bhavin Rabari are among the actors who appear in the movie. The story is set against the backdrop of India's cinemas going through a significant conversion from celluloid to digital, where hundreds of single-screen theatres are either completely gone or are in disrepair.

The Last Film Show was declared India's official submission for the Oscars in 2023 in September 2022.

The first glimpse at Sharman Joshi's "Congratulations"

Manasi Parekh Gohil will also play the lead in the family drama. Ami Bhayani, Swati Dave, Jayesh Barbahya, Archan Trivedi, and others. Rehan Chaudhary is the writer and director of "Congratulations," which is scheduled to open in theatres on February 3,2023.

Sharman is a well-known Bollywood actor who has appeared in a number of movies, including "3 Idiots," "Golmaal: Fun Unlimited," and "Rang De Basanti." He also appeared in "Mission Mangal." The movie Mangalyaan is based on the Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM), which an Indian Space Research Organization team of scientists conducted (ISRO). As ISRO scientists, the movie stars Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Nithya Menon, and Kirti Kulhari.
