Ivan Zakharenko, Head of the Thematic Broadcasting and Special Media Projects Department at TV BRICS, emphasized the international allure of the Russian School of Composition and the crucial need to nurture young talent.

"The Russian School of Composition is a global brand that captivates international audiences," declared Zakharenko. "Through the 'Partitura' competition, we witness the thrilling evolution of young academic music in Russia and its boundless global potential."

This premiere marks the second electrifying documentary released by TV BRICS in 2025, following the January debut of "Uralian Anomaly," which delved into Russia's mining industry.






Brown, the upcoming web series from actor Karisma Kapoor, has been selected for the Berlinale Series Market Selects of the 2023 Berlin International Film Festival.

According to a press release, the neo-noir drama series, directed by Abhinay Deo of Delhi Belly fame and produced by Zee Studios, is part of a lineup of 16 titles from five continents.

The Berlinale Series Market, which curates series with high market potential, is a joint initiative of the European Film Market, the Berlinale Co-Production Market, and Berlinale Talents. It is put on in close collaboration with the Berlinale Series.

The story revolves around Rita Brown, a suicidal alcoholic, and Arjun Sinha, a widower suffering from survivor's guilt. They must push their personal demons aside to find a serial killer whose belief in his divine purpose makes him unstoppable.

The series explores themes such as depression, irrelevance, addiction, corruption, and deception. "I am extremely happy to be a part of Brown and working with such a fantastic director Abhinay Deo, and Zee Studios who have backed such fabulous content. To say the least, playing Rita Brown has been intriguing and creatively satisfying. "I'm overjoyed that Brown has been selected for an international platform, the Berlinale Series Market Select," Kapoor said in a statement. According to Deo, the show's main themes are suspense and human vulnerabilities. "To be specific, it includes a time pressure element as well as a series of mysterious events that will keep audiences glued to their seats," he added.

According to Shariq Patel, CBO of Zee Studios, the company is committed to presenting stories that can be showcased on the global stage. "Brown is the studio's first attempt at creating a show which is truly world-class, and to be part of the eminent Berlinale Series Market Selects for 2023 is a matter of great pride for us. "The brilliance of Abhinay Deo behind the camera and Karisma Kapoor in front of it will undoubtedly excite audiences all over the world," he said.

Washington [US], July 4: An accident recently took place on the sets of Disney Plus's upcoming comedy series 'Muppet Mayhem' when a crew truck crashed into a tree on the edge of a cliff near Griffith Observatory.

According to Deadline, the incident happened on late Friday night around 11:30 PM and no one was hurt. However, the time of the accident raises Hollywood's decades-long issue of long hours on set.

Sources suggest 'Muppet Mayhem' has been filming for a few weeks consisting of long days. Location shoots are permitted by Film LA, which is a non-profit agency that is supposed to be notified of all incidents that occur during exterior production on city streets or venues such as Griffith Park. Developed and written by 'The Goldbergs' creator Adam F. Goldberg, Muppets veteran Bill Barretta, and Jeff Yorkes, the series follows The Electric Mayhem Band as they go on an epic musical journey to finally record their first studio album.

Nora (Lilly Singh), a driven junior A&R executive, is tasked with managing and wrangling the mayhem that is The Electric Mayhem Band. With her help, the old-school Muppet band comes face to face with the current-day music scene as they try to go platinum.

As per Deadline, 'Muppet Mayhem' has been executive produced by Goldberg, Barretta, Michael Bostick and Kris Eber with Yorkes as an executive producer. The Muppets Studio's David Lightbody and Leigh Slaughter are also executive producers.
