Anup Singh's directorial moving images "The Song of Scorpions" has premiered at Switzerland's Locarno Film Festival. The film will be released in theatres on April 28.

The film, which also stars renowned actresses Waheeda Rehman and Golshiteh Farahani. The tale revolves around Nooran, a carefree and boldly independent tribal woman who is studying the ancient art of healing from her grandmother, a famed scorpion singer. When Aadam, a camel trader in the Rajasthan desert, hears her sing, he falls head over heels. But, before they can even get to know each other, Nooran is poisoned by a horrific perfidy, sending her on a perilous journey to avenge herself and discover her song.
