"The Song of Scorpions" Irrfan Khan's farewell film will be released on his third death anniversary

Anup Singh's directorial moving images "The Song of Scorpions" has premiered at Switzerland's Locarno Film Festival. The film will be released in theatres on April 28.

The film, which also stars renowned actresses Waheeda Rehman and Golshiteh Farahani. Zeeshan Ahmad produced the film and stated, "It is an honour that my name has been associated with this film as a co-producer and one of the film's presenters." We are delighted that Irrfan Khan's final onscreen appearance in a film will soon be released in theatres across the country, allowing his fans to witness him one last time on the big screen. Trust me, Irrfan's character and performance in the film will captivate you."

The tale revolves around Nooran, a carefree and boldly independent tribal woman who is studying the ancient art of healing from her grandmother, a famed scorpion singer. When Aadam, a camel trader in the Rajasthan desert, hears her sing, he falls head over heels. But, before they can even get to know each other, Nooran is poisoned by a horrific perfidy, sending her on a perilous journey to avenge herself and discover her song.
